Listening to our exclusive silence created by nature and experience a night in our glampingtent will for sure give you a new and unique memory for life.

A basket with Swedish fika (se explanation for Swedish fika below) will wait for you in the tent when you arrive. Dinner and breakfast is also included.

Extra option: Later at your day of arrival we will gather around the campfire* and you will learn about, cook and enjoy Dalarna’s landscape dish called “kolbulle”. Kolbulle is a filling dish made of salted pork, flour and water - not a bun that we usually serve for a “fika”.

While enjoying your kolbulle we will take some time for reflection and share our experiences of Swedish Silence.

Swedish FIKA: Fika is often translated as "a coffee and cake break", which is kind of correct, but really it is much more than that.

Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat.

Fika can also be a verb. Swedes will say to each other “Lets go and fika"!”

*Sometimes we are not allowed to set up a campfire, due to extremely dry ground that can start a forest fire. If this will be the case we can´t offer you “kolbullar” as an extra option and you will have coffee served from a thermos.
